FAMILY
I was blessed with a wonderful wife and 3 wonderful children. I
met my wife Cindy in September 1998. We got together in
February 2000. She already had 2 kids, so we decided to move
in together in June 2002 to see if they would take to me well
enough for us to get married. We got engaged in June 2003 when
I proposed to her on the beach in Fort Lauderdale. We were
married April 2004. God blessed us with a pregnancy right away
and in February 2005, our 3rd child, my 1st blood son, was born.
I love my wife and kids dearly and all the time I get to spend with
them is a blessing.
EDUCATION: I have 99 credits above my Bachelors including
an earned Master's degree in Instructional Design/Curriculum and
course development
RELIGION: Christian, non-denominational. I have faith that
Jesus is my Lord and Savior. I do think however, that radical, and
forceful, physical violence used to impose religion onto others OR
the elimination of it because of it's effects on a minority, is wrong.
To force someone to pray, denies the person of free will and they
can not truly develop a relationship with God (regardless of what
that person's religious affiliation is). Opposite that however, for
atheists or questioners to attempt to force religion as an influence
out of people and/or the United States, denies the basic right of
free speech and again, eliminates free will. In short, believe what
you want, or don't believe in anything, but accept that people have
different thoughts and beliefs. Encourage debate, but eliminate
hate (in terms of physical violence specifically)
POLITICAL:
Currently registered to vote as "no affiliation". It all depends on
the issue. I guess I'm in the "middle of the isle" (see philosophy)
Philosophy: I enjoy contemplating "what if" and hypothetical.
If someone were to ask me if the glass is half full or half empty, I'd
say it all depends on if you're pouring into the glass or drinking
from it.
I don't fit the stereotype of a conservative or a liberal. I really
have different thoughts based on the situation. However, with all
issues regardless of religious or political implications, I examine
various sources to determine my view points.
5 Things I love
1) Spending positive time with my Family and close friends
2) That I believe I am "saved" for eternity because of Faith in
Christ Jesus
3) Helping children and teens learn to make healthy decisions as
they grow
4) Teaching and Coaching and the bonds you build when the
children respond and LEARN
5) Hard work and good effort
5 things I hate
1) Dis-respect (in all forms)
2) Lying and sneakiness (deliberate, not harmless white lies)
3) Constant Laziness
4) Stupidity (after practice)
5) Complaining for the sake of complaining or whining
